Earl K. Long papers, 1937-1977.

The Earl K. Long Papers consist of 12 scrapbooks of mainly newspaper clippings, photographic prints, clippings, letters, speeches, and printed items concerning Earl K. Long's political career. Photographic prints depict Earl Long, Blanche Revere Long, prominent American politicians, and American motion picture and television actors. Also included are two films: "Louisiana, The First Chapter," a film describing Louisiana (ca.1950), and a film of Long's inauguration as governor in May 1956.
